A London property developer bought this Crouch End terraced building and transformed it into a light and expansive family home. The floor chosen was the Vintage 190 Nevada smoked handscraped and natural oiled engineered oak complete with underfloor heating.

Snowy home in North London

This wintry home in North London's Crouch End had crisp white walls, a chic pale wood floor and minimalist furniture all complimented by some design classics and the picture perfect snow.

The floor used was Istoria French Antique Baudelaire Classic Linen laid in a chevron pattern and white washed, brushed, matt lacquered and was a pre-finished engineered wood flooring.

Austrian Embassy returned to Elegance

A few years ago the Austrian Embassy had it's Oak Versaille panel floors restored in two function rooms and a new Weitzer Parkett oak herringbone floor layed in two other grand rooms.

We recently received an S.O.S call, a few days before their national day, saying there was some water stains on the floor and could we help. The Jordan Andrews Team came to the rescue!

I took these images this morning and on a cold wintry day this kitchen/ lounge room couldn't be more cosy and welcoming.

Jordan Andrews didn't supply the floor but we have similar timber available, like this solid rustic grade oak which can then be finished like this floor with the Osmo Hardwax Ployx Oil in a satin finish.

A work in progress at Muswell Hill

The Jordan Andrews team headed to Muswell Hill to fit the bottom floor of an Edwardian town house with Iroko blocks in a herringbone design.

With the kit out the van and the dog shooed into another room the team got on with the job first disposing of the existing floor and then laying a new sub-floor of plywood.

The Iroko blocks were then layed in a double herringbone pattern.

An added design extra will be the double border in the iroko wood.

A festool circular saw TS55 with guide rail was used to cut the border design.

A festool dust extractor CT22 was used to keep the house free from dust and dirt.

Highgate Flat Fitted with Istoria Carbonised Oak Wood Flooring

The common myth that a dark colour brings a room in is not the case with this North London flat. The owner chose Istoria "Black Rock" select grade, which is an oiled carbonised oak with a width of 180mm. The rich tones of the floor are complimented with light walls and an autumnal interior palette of burnt oranges, worn tan and rustic creams.

The Jordan Andrews team supplied the durable Technics 5 underlay as well as the finishing touches with matching pipe roses, threshers, stair nosing, end profiles and reducers.

North London Family Home Fitted with Fumed Oak

A North London family home had six rooms fitted throughout with the Charisma fumed original oak. They asked for the floor to be versatile with the different styles of the room and to be warm, easy to clean and rich in hue.
The floor was insulated against moisture, noise impact and cold with a layer of Technics 5, a high density rubber underlay. Jordan Andrews also supplied matching thresholds, stair nosing and pipe roses to ensure an elegant continuity with the timber of the flooring.
The floor supplied was the Charisma Fumed Oak, an engineered floor, with a specification of; 14mm thick, 193 mm width and 2245mm length board with a square edge so as to create a smooth finish.

The end result was two floors, six rooms, two stairs and adjoining hallways of exquisite wood flooring which is both low maintenance ideal for a family lifestyle and stylish enough for a period home.

Luxury North London Town Houses Fitted with Istoria Bespoke Hardwood Flooring

Developer Paul Simon of Paul Simon Homes and Magic Home required a distinctive hardwood floor for the contemporary town houses worth 1.8 million which were situated in the fashionable location of North London's Crouch End.

Jordan Andrews have completed numerous projects with Paul Simon and when asked to supply a specific tone of wood floor which needed to be tailored to the modern and minimalistic style of the homes, Jordan Andrews created a customised floor from their exclusive Istoria Bespoke collection.

The timber selected and then modified was Broadwalk which is desirable for its rich hues and intricate grain. Jordan Andrews' timber technicians and colourists hand finished the boards with a darker oil to enrichen the wood's natural character.

The finished result was a luxurious floor with a subtle sheen and a versatility to inject warmth, charisma and elegance to every room.

The logo is for the Jordan Andrews Bespoke collection of hand finished hardwood timber tailored to suit your inspiration. We have over 30 different species to choose from and if you have something specifically in mind our timber colourists will do their best to match it for you.

The logo was inspired by the natural wood product which is reflected by the lines of the tree intercepting the 'i' of Istoria showing how ingrained the natural beauty of the timber is to our collection

Chingford private residence:

The Jordan Andrews Ltd team completed an impressive residential installation for a private client in Chingford, where the client requested a herringbone patterned hardwood floor.

Jordan Andrews specified and installed the 'Versaille' range of Engineered Hardwood Parquet flooring, chosen in an pre-finished Smoked Oak finish.

The Versaille range is a contemporary take on the classic herringbone style, constructed from a wider board and creating a more modern finish.

Orange HQ London Paddington:

Jordan Andrews were commissioned to supply and install hardwood flooring to the canteen area of the Orange Headquarters situated in Paddington, Central London.

The installation consisted of a Weitzer Parkett WP Strip, 2 layer construction wood floor, designed to be fully adhered to the sub floor with a 5.5mm wear layer.

The Oak Special, Pre-Finished Lacquered Weitzer Parkett strip is a cost effective way of installing a hardwood floor to a large commercial area. Each section is made from 5 thin strips of smaller staves, giving a istinctive overall look.

Hadleywood private residence:

For this striking installation, the client requested a herringbone hardwood floor with borders in a classic Oak finish. This was a perfect solution, as they were also keen to save time and remove the need for sanding and extended finishing.

Jordan Andrews specified and installed a Fumed Oak floor with an Acacia border, all constructed from the Weitzer Parkett Classic range of pre-finished lacquered hardwood.
Also required was a specially commissioned 'sunray' design framing the large bay window ,which was created from Acacia and Pearwood hardwood segments.

The end result was a glamorous and refined bespoke design that made the bay window area a true focal point of the room. The flooring brought warmth and an elegance which infused the rest of the house and communal areas.
